The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has condemned the non-inclusion of any female in the meeting held by southwest leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The NIDCOM boss said it is gender insensitivity that no woman was part of the meeting which held in Lagos State on Friday.
Taking to her Twitter account on Saturday, Dabiri wondered why the women leader at least could not have been invited to the meeting.

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has accused Air Peace Airline of disrespect to the stool and the people of Kano State. Naija News reports that the emir’s cousin and one of his closest allies, Isa Sanusi Bayero, made this accusation in a petition to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Bayero said the airline delayed their Banjul to Lagos flight by over one hour and refused to allow them to board their connecting flight to Kano because they arrived in Lagos 30 minutes before departure time.

Megan Hiatt, 22, lost her five-month-old twins, Hayden Rose and Kayden Reese Hiatt, and her father, Travis James Hiatt, 49, in a murder-suicide attack by her boyfrined Gawain Rushane Wilson, 28. Ms Hiatt is the only survivor of the blood-curdling shooting and is currently in critical condition at hospital.
